This page explains what happens to information when you read www.empathph.com: which small pieces of visit data are recorded, why, for how long, and where the site's involvement ends. It describes only mechanisms confirmed when the site was built.
Visit Handling: Verified Mechanisms
First-party visit beacon. When you arrive from a search engine, the site records a small amount of visit data: the path of the page you opened, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine and, if you click an outbound button, the text on that button. Nothing is recorded by this mechanism when you arrive any other way. The data is used only to count page views and outbound button clicks for the site's own traffic counting, and for nothing else. It is not linked to your name, e-mail address, account or payment details, because the site never asks for any of these. It does not keep records about you as an individual.
Session view flag. To avoid counting one page view twice, the site keeps a single flag in your browser for the current session. It holds no personal data and lasts only for that session. The site sets no other browser storage and no persistent identifier, so it cannot recognise you on a later visit.
Self-contained pages and locally embedded fonts. Every file a page needs, including its fonts, comes from this domain. While a page is displayed, your browser is not asked to fetch anything from an outside host, so no third party learns that you are reading it.
Static hosting on a content delivery network. The site is a set of static files delivered by a content delivery network. As the hosting provider, that network processes the technical data that every web request involves in order to deliver the files to your browser.
Outbound links to third-party sites. Some pages link to other websites. Following such a link opens a separate site that receives the request directly from your browser and keeps its own record of it. This site does not control how a partner site handles information, so review that site's own policy before sharing anything there.
Scope Limits: Confirmed Absences
Several things are deliberately missing from this site. These absences are why it asks for no consent, no account and no personal detail:
- No forms. There is nowhere on these pages to type in or submit personal information.
- No third-party analytics. Visit counting is handled by the site itself. Visitor data is not shared with advertising networks, data brokers or outside analytics services.
- No external subresources. Pages load nothing from other domains while you read them.
- No contact channels. The site offers no messaging, mailing or support channel, and this page does not name one.
- No login, registration or user account. There is no profile to create and no personal information is stored about visitors.
Because of these limits, this page cannot describe anything beyond the mechanisms set out above. It makes no statements about operator identity, outside policies or how a linked destination treats your data. If any page, message or website claiming a connection to this site asks for personal details, do not provide them: this site has no channel that collects them.
